Turkey Meatballs
These meatballs are an easier and healthier version of traditional meatballs. I made them for my family over Thanksgiving and they were all impressed with the taste and the simplicity of this recipe. In college I discovered ground turkey and have substituted it for ground beef ever since.
Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground turkey
1 egg
1/4 cup Parmigiano- Reggiano cheese
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/3 cup coarsely chopped parsley
1 tablespoon olive oil
Dashes of pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Place ground turkey in a bowl and season with dashes of pepper
3. Add egg, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, bread crumbs, parsley and oil to moisten meat
4. Mix ingredients and form meatballs of desired size
5. Place meatballs on baking sheet and bake about 15 minutes or until there is no pink inside
